NFL Sunday Ticket and its Long Bid
The NFL Sunday Ticket has been one of the most sought-after sports league shows by famous streaming companies to include in their packages and services for subscribers. One of its previous frontrunners was Apple which has been in talks with the sports league since early 2021, joined by other streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video and ESPN+.
There have been talks that the famous American football league is dropping DirecTV's services from showcasing its games, looking for an alternative among the many streaming platforms in the country. With Apple being one of the most prominent names in this change, there were speculations that it will win the bidding and contract to showcase NFL games.
However, with the massive speculation around the Cupertino giant not getting it and reportedly dropping out of the competition, another company interested in showcasing it is Google. These advanced talks may mean that the internet company will secure this for its YouTube TV and Primetime Channels, speculating that Google will get the NFL.
