Apple's high-end M2 Extreme Mac Pro will no longer be released this 2022, as concluded by reliable enthusiasts.
Back in 2020, the giant gadget maker announced that it would transition away from the SoCs designed and manufactured by Intel.
The iPhone developer said the transition is expected to be completed in two years.
However, since 2022 is about to end, it seems like Apple will not be able to keep its promise of moving to its in-house processors.

Recent rumors claimed that Apple should have launched the new Mac Pro with M2 Extreme this December.
But, because of various reasons, the advanced desktop has been delayed.
Mark Gurman, one of the most reliable Apple analysts, said that Apple delayed (or worse, canceled) the most-awaited M2 Extreme because of the chip's complexity and high production costs.
Aside from this, the iPhone maker is also considering the final price of the new Mac Pro powered by M2 Extreme.
Gurman explained that this new desktop could cost at least $10,000, even without any upgrade.
What Will Apple Do to Mitigate Its Shortfall?
9To5Mac reported that Apple has a solution to mitigate the delay of the new Mac Pro.
The tech manufacturer's main solution is to retain the device's expandability options for RAM, storage, as well as other components.
Since the new Mac Pro might no longer rely on the most-awaited M2 Extreme processor, experts stated that the iPhone maker would integrate the next-gen M2 Ultra chipset instead.
Aside from this, various speculations believe that the new Mac Pro will be manufactured in Asia, specifically in Vietnam.
But, since all these details are still rumors, the best thing you can do as a consumer is to wait for Apple's official announcements.
As of writing, Apple is still busy with its other products and services.
Recently, the new iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 has been finally rolled out to beta testers.
We also reported that Apple's satellite services might soon expand after the Emergency SOS via Satellite was successfully launched.
