She explained that she tried to get a comment from Elon Musk for a story involving the billionaire before her official account was suspended.
Lorenz added that her account was already banned when she tried to log in to check if the tech CEO responded.
The suspension of Taylor's official Twitter account happened after Twitter implemented new policies against doxxing.
Now, based on the statements of some Twitter users, Lorenz is quite popular for doxxing other individuals.
For those unfamiliar with doxxing, it is the act of sharing people's personal details with the public via the internet.
Suspended Accounts of Other Journalists Reinstated
While Lorenz's Twitter account is still suspended, Elon Musk decided to reactivate the banned accounts of other journalists.
The billionaire did this after asking users if they should unsuspend accounts conducting doxxing.
In the official poll, 58.7% said yes, and 41.3% said no. Among the journalists who were able to return to Twitter are Matt Binder of Mashable and Steve Herman of Voice of America.
