Tesla's Christmas discount brings the prices of its electric vehicles such as the Tesla Model Y, Model 3, and Model S. The price cut goes as high as $5,500.
It is worth noting that the giant EV maker of Elon Musk rarely gives away discounts. But perhaps as the holiday season is here, the automaker decided to be generous. It might also be a strategy to sell more vehicles before this year comes to an end.
Tesla Christmas Discount Offers $5,500 Off for New EVs
According to a recent report by Tesla North, the giant all-electric automaker is now giving away discounts for its vehicles in various countries in Europe.
The discounts for Tesla EVs are available in countries like the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, the news outlet reports.
It turns out that the limited-time price cut also covers the demo vehicles of the carmaker. So besides the more affordable brand-new offerings, the Musk-owned firm is also making its lower-priced demo cars for a much cheaper price tag.
If you are really tight on a budget, the demo models might be the best deal right now.
The Tesla Model Y is now way cheaper in France. Tesla North reports that the all-electric SUV now retails for a discounted price of $51,047. However, it is worth noting that this pricing still excludes tax incentives. So it should be lower after that.
Aside from the best-selling Tesla EV, the Tesla Model 3 also receives a discount in Germany. The electric sedan now carries a $52,302 or nearly 50,000 euros price tag in time for Christmas.
In the United Kingdom, the Model 3 sedan is now cheaper than ever. The discount lowers the Model 3 RWD price by roughly $5,500, making it cost to the tune of 48,435 pounds or around $58,819.
Demo EVs are also Cheaper This Holiday Season
Some of the demo cars of the giant EV maker in the UK now only start at around $46,755 or £43,905. These demo vehicles are typically more affordable than getting brand-new cars.
Now, their prices got ever lower as Tesla offers them for a limited-time discount, allowing buyers to get them at a much cheaper price tag.
The giant EV maker is a bit generous these days. According to a recent report by Reuters, Tesla China is now offering discounts to its EVs for up to $859.20 or 6,000 Chinese yuan.
