Google initially released Android 13 OS to its Pixel handsets. It's been four months since it arrived on Google's mobile platform, yet some models remain unsupported by the newest operating system.
The newly-launched system first became available to select handhelds from Sony, Samsung, OnePlus, and more brands, yet we haven't seen any updated list from Motorola at that time.
The updates must be quite slower in Motorola than in the other companies. Recently, the Illinois-based maker posted the most recent list of all supported devices of Android 13.
List of Android 13-Supported Motorola Devices
According to an article by XDA Developers, it's not surprising to see that the new-gen Moto phones, such as Motorola Edge 30 Pro and Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, will receive Android 13 support given that they have the best specs at the time.
However, if you own a quite old model like the Moto G smartphone, it might take some time before the latest mobile operating system arrives.
So far, Motorola has not yet disclosed the exact date of the rollout, but XDA Developers reports that it might take place somewhere in "early 2023."
If we are lucky, we could definitely see that its availability will drop just a month from now. Otherwise, the update for the Android 13 support for Motorola phones might happen in the first half of 2023.
If you think Android 13 is slowing down your phone because it's incompatible, you can use custom ROMs to uninstall the update.
Here's the official list of all Motorola devices that will get Android 13.
- Motorola Razr 2022
- Motorola Edge 30 Ultra
- Motorola Edge 30 Pro
- Motorola Edge Plus 2022
- Motorola Edge 30 Fusion
