Mastodon, the famous Twitter alternative which erupted on Elon Musk's ownership of the short-word social media, is now seeing more fame from third-party developers of apps that help its platform be more accessible. Previous Twitter third-party app developers are now creating new experiences for the famed Twitter alternative to bring more experiences to its users.
It is only a matter of time before this happened, especially as the Twitter boycott is massive and people went over to Mastodon to have the almost-same experience, but not have it under Chief Twit.
Mastodon is Getting a Wave of Third-Party Apps for its Use
According to Tech Crunch, a wave of Twitter's third-party app developers are already turning their focus to Mastodon, especially in this time of the tech billionaire's reign on the short-word social media.
Mastodon gained massive fame during the Musk takeover, and as more people are using the alternative platform now, apps and services lend their hand to help make the experience more manageable.
Apps like Metatext which offers multiple account management for the iPad, searchable emoji sticker packs, and support for Mastodon are among those third-party apps intended to help users with their Mastodon use.
Other famous third-party apps for Mastodon include Tootle, Toot!, Mast: for Mastodon, Mastoot, Mercury, and more offer different types of services and tools for the Twitter alternative's use.

Former Twitter Third-Party App Devs Create for Mastodon
However, that is not the end of it, as other Twitter third-party app developers are now turning their focus on Mastodon for creating new experiences for users to better their platform usage. Paul Haddad, the known creator of the Tweetbot, is also on the verge of developing an app for Mastodon to help with its experience, coming soon for its users.
Mastodon's Rise to Fame and Twitter's Elon Musk
Mastodon rose to massive fame in the latter part of the year, especially during Chief Twit's takeover of the famous short-word social media once led by Parag Agrawal and the previous Twitter management. Instead of turning the tides on Twitter, it drove more people to flock over to Mastodon which saw a surge of new users using its platform for their online needs.
The 2016-established open-source social networking platform saw a significant number of former Twitter users joining its servers, as what the experience centers on, for its massive discussion and online connections.
And many are currently enjoying what Mastodon has to offer, with as many as 500,000 new users who joined the platform since October 27, and it is still seeing new signups.
Now, instead of seeing the regular Mastodon from Eugen Rochko's creation, a wave of third-party apps are extending their services and developments to improve the Twitter alternative's use with tools and other services to use.
Many third-party Mastodon apps and services are available on different platforms like the web and mobile, where users may choose from to suit their needs.
