Lamborghini reveals its upcoming Huracan Sterrato, which is the company's first off-road-capable sports car.
Fully electric off-road vehicles were nearly unheard of before the year 2000, but as EV technology has advanced quickly over the past 20 years, improvements in range, power, and weight reduction have made battery-powered powertrains more suitable for all-terrain use.
Lamborghini surpasses the limit with its first off-road-capable sports car, the Huracan Sterrato, which claims to withstand even the most difficult and daring terrain, according to Motor 1.

Why Lamborghini's Huracan Sterrato Is Hailed as the 'Supercar for the Dirt'
The Huracan Sterrato's 5.2-liter V10 engine produces 602 horsepower (449 kilowatts) and 413 pound-feet (560 Newton-meters) of torque, which is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, according to Lamborghini, making it the world's first "super sports car with a V10 engine and all-wheel drive designed to deliver driving thrills on all terrains".
This week, Lamborghini unveils a video teaser of the sports automobile, which features the Huracan Sterrato cruising through a dirt road to showcase its speed and durability against different terrains. This is due to its aluminum underbody protection in front, a rear diffuser, reinforced sills, robust wheel arches, and custom-engineered, all-terrain Bridgestone Dueler AT002, according to Hiconsumption.
Despite claiming it can handle any terrain, the rally-inspired supercar is only 1.7 inches taller than a standard Huracan Evo, thanks to a suspension raise system. This permits additional suspension travel, and the company's Integrated Vehicle Dynamics system has been modified with new calibrations for Strada and Sport driving modes, along with the newly added Rally mode.
