The popular Apple Car Key feature is now shareable to Android devices.
Unfortunately, not all non-iOS smartphones are included. But, if you are a Google user, then you're lucky.
On Thursday, Dec. 1, the giant tech manufacturer announced that Pixel devices can now receive digital car keys stored in the Apple Wallet.
This is a part of Apple's effort to establish a standard for sharing digital keys across platforms.

Apple users still need the required iPhone XS or later iOS smartphone models, as well as the Apple Watch Series 5 or newer versions.
As of writing, this enhancement only works with Pixel smartphones. However, the iPhone maker confirmed that it would expand to other Android handsets, as reported by Tech Crunch.
This will likely happen, especially since the gadget maker is working with the Internet Engineering Task Force to create a standard digital key-sharing tech.
How to Share Apple Car Key to Google Pixel
If you visit your Apple Wallet app, you will notice that there's an option to send your stored digital car key to other users.
Once you are there, pick the available contact; of course, non-Google Pixel devices will not appear on the list.
After, you can choose whether you want to have an activation code once you send your digital car key to the Pixel smartphone.
Then, just choose if you want to send the digital car key via WhatsApp, a text message, or an email message.
If you want to end the Apple Car Key sharing, you must click the Car Key option and the People button. From there, tap on the "Stop Sharing" option.
Aside from the Apple Car Key enhancement, the iPhone maker is also improving its other products.
Previously, experts claimed that the new iPhone 15 Pro would have the haptic volume feature.
The tech giant firm is also expected to debut its Apple Pay in South Korea.
