Elon Musk just agreed to a tweet saying Twitter should integrate stock tickers into tweets saying there is a massive finance Twitter community with millions of people, and it is still growing.
Elon Musk has been Talking to Twitter Users to Get Suggestions on How Certain Things Should Move Forward
Since Elon Musk's $44 billion of Twitter was completed in October, as seen in The New York Times, the new CEO has been engaging with the audience regarding certain additions the social platform should add.
Musk has been paying attention to his Twitter audience and even held a poll regarding the reinstation of Donald Trump in which the public voted that the former president should be allowed to come back, as further detailed in an article by Forbes.
Musk 'Agreed' that Twitter Should Integrate Stock Tickers Into the Tweets
In a tweet by The Kobeissi Letter, Musk was asked whether Twitter would get stock tickers integration into their tweets. The suggestion included the possibility of live tickers while highlighting how the finance Twitter community already has millions of people and is still growing.
To this, Musk replied with one word, "agreed." Should this feature come to fruition, it could possibly show the public a stock's performance in real-time, as seen in articles like The Wall Street Journal where a stock ticker with its % change is shown in real-time.
Musk has Not Said that the New Feature is on His 'To-Do' List
This would potentially let users see how a stock performs in real time on Twitter. Should this happen, this would ideally become the first social media to provide live stock tickers, which would be a huge plus for the finance community.
However, the thing about this feature is that although Musk agreed, he did not note that this feature is already on the "to-do" list or that the team will add this feature to the social platform. Musk has a habit of confirming when the team is working on a feature.

This would help eliminate the need for long tweeters to reply to their previous tweet or chop up their statements into several tweets.
In an article by Business Insider, Musk replied to a pitch regarding the character limit, which he simply replied that it was already on his to-do list. In another tweet, it was suggested that the tweet limit should be pushed from 280 to 420, which the Twitter CEO called a "good idea."
