Tesla software update release notes are reportedly coming to its mobile app soon.
Once it starts showing up on smartphones, its EV owners will no longer have to check their cars to check what the latest software release brings to the table.
Tesla Update Release Notes Might Soon Be Available on its App
As per the latest news story by Tesla North, the release notes of the giant EV maker for its latest update might soon see the light of day on its mobile app for Android and iPhone iOS.
The online news outlet notes that the automaker currently rolls out its release notes for every software update exclusively on its all-electric cars. It enables EV owners to check out the new features and improvements straight from their vehicles.
However, it turns out that the mobile app of Tesla, which is available to download at the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, fails to include any release notes for software updates.
But this limitation looks to be changing anytime soon. A recent report claims that the EV maker is working to bring its notes on the latest updates on its mobile app as well.
The Twitter user that goes by the name "Dirty Tesla" revealed that release notes are likely on their way to the app.
The user tweeted that "coming soon, the latest release notes for your Tesla update will be viewable in your app!" Dirty Tesla went on to note that users would no longer have to run "out to the car to see what you got!"

Release Notes on the Tesla App Reportedly 'Happening Very Soon'
Another Twitter account, Teslascope, hinted at the arrival of release notes to mobile phones.
Teslascope initially reached out to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesla, Elon Musk, asking for release notes to be available in the mobile app. And on November 29, Teslascope said that "this is happening very soon," while thanking Musk and the Tesla Team.
The Tesla mobile app is available on both Apple App Store for iPhone users and the Google Play Store for Android folks.
The official listing of the app in the App Store states that it "puts owners in direct communication with their vehicles and energy products anytime, anywhere." Given that description, it sure is fitting that its software update release notes start rolling out on its app as well.
