As per a recent report by Engadget, the Gran Turismo Vision project is home to various concept cars from numerous renowned car makers, such as Mercedes-Benz. The entries of these automakers are typically impressive with impeccable design and out-of-this-world power.

But this time, Italian luxury sports car maker Ferrari is dipping its toes in the Gran Turismo rodeo.

Engadget reports that the developer of the Gran Turismo series, Polyphony Digital, announced that the Prancing Horse is joining the Vision project.

The concept is a hybrid race car that boasts a V6 engine along with electric motors. It is worth noting that the V6 in the concept vehicle is actually "a more extreme version" of what we saw in real life for the 499P hypercar.

How Fast is the Ferrari Gran Turismo

The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo lashes out a whopping 1,000 horsepower. It is the power that the three electric motors and the V6 engine provide.

According to a new story by Motor 1, the Italian car maker touts that its entry to the Vision project achieves an ultra-fast 0 to 62 miles per hour (mph) performance.

The Ferrari Design Director, Flavio Manzoni, told Engadget that they "wanted to create a vision of the future designed with constraint."

Monzani notes that it is "born from Ferrari's unrivaled understanding of engineering, aerodynamics and future technologies."

When is it Arriving in 'Gran Turismo 7'

Motor 1 notes in its story that Gran Turismo fans should keep their eye on the campaign quiz as the winner could get their hands on the Ferrari Vision.

The Prancing Horse hybrid concept race car is debuting on "Gran Turismo 7" a few days before Christmas or on December 23.
