This means that these new Samsung Galaxy 23 smartphones will no longer have to experience the issues with Exynos SoCs.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 integrated into the Galaxy S23 models is different because this chipset will be the overclocked version.

Thanks to this enhancement, the upcoming Galaxy S23 is expected to be more powerful than other Android smartphones, as well as the iPhone 14.

Now, here's what the latest performance tests reveal about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

Samsung Galaxy S23 SoC's Performance

Based on the latest performance tests, which Geekbench and GFXbench conducted, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is more powerful than the Exynos chipset used in the Galaxy S22.

In a CPU performance test, that new SoC has a 25% better single-core score, as well as a 45% better multi-score score compared to Galaxy S22's Exynos 2200.

Aside from this, GFX benchmarks revealed that the new Galaxy S23 chipset has improved by at least 60%. It is also claimed to be 85% more efficient than the Exynos 2200.

Experts claimed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 could also match--or even exceed--the performance of Apple's A15 Bionic chipset.

As of press time, Samsung's consumers are still waiting for the arrival of its new Galaxy S23.

Since it hasn't rolled out in the market yet, these scores will be numbers until consumers are already using the new Android smartphone.

Inverse reported that the new Galaxy S23 is set to arrive as early as 2023.

Samsung might launch this new Android handset by January or February.
