Street Fighter's car demolition bonus stage is something of a tradition for the fighting game franchise at this point. While playing through arcade mode, players enter the stage and attempt to destroy as much of the car as possible in the allotted time in order and nab a high score.
So of course people have attempted the feat in real life. Turns out smashing cars with your fists isn't all that easy, especially when you don't have Ryu's signature Hadouken to fall back on. For reference, here is what punching a car looks like in the game.
Now on to destroying cars in real life. Take this guy, for example. I don't recall Ryu ever jumping up and down on top of a car like this, but whatever works.
Or these two fellows duking it out with cars destined for the scrap heap in their local junkyard.
The Japanese (perhaps unsurprisingly) have even made a game show segment out of it.
All these fighters dressed as Ryu don't do half bad in their attempts to beat innocent cars into submission, but anybody who has ever played Street Fighter knows that Blanka is the undisputed master of car destruction. Being a green, electricity monster will do that to you.
