A brain tumor patient was diagnosed after experiencing hallucinations, which told her to get a CT scan.
The woman, who is in her early 40s, claimed that some voices told her that she had to get diagnosed.
It turns out that the voices she heard were correct.
Because this is a rare medical case, what happened to her was published in the BMJ; a weekly peer-reviewed medical trade journal.

"Please don't be afraid. I know it must be shocking for you to hear me speaking to you like this, but this is the easiest way I could think of," said the voices to the woman, as per BMJ.
After hearing these voices, she asked for help from Dr. Ikechukwu Obialo Azuonye, the consultant psychiatrist who wrote the study.
Dr. Azuonye explained that the patient's hallucinations told her to visit an address in England.
When the woman followed the instructions of the voices, she discovered that the address is actually a CT (computerized tomography) department, which is a part of a large London hospital.
