The first Pokemon game in history has no recorded shiny Pokemon. It was in Gen II when this gimmick started, particularly when Red Gyarados first came out in "Pokemon Gold and Silver."
Since then, shiny hunting has become a main staple for every Pokemon mainline game. "Pokemon Scarlet & Violet," in its first-day launch, has been plagued by several bugs, that's why players grew disappointed in an instant.
However, some gamers discovered that you could take advantage of the in-game glitches to collect Shiny Pokemon easily. If you're curious about that trick, here's everything you need to do.
Cheating Your Way to Shiny Hunting
Finding a Shiny Pokemon is like searching for a needle in a haystack. The odds of encountering this rare Pokemon are close to a fraction of the percentage.
It will take you several hours before you see this unique Pokemon. For Shiny collectors, there's no shortcut to success when it comes to finding these Pokemon.
However, for "Pokemon Scarlet & Violet" trainers, you can actually fast-track your progress in hunting Shinies via an exploit that they surprisingly discovered recently.
According to Newsweek, PhillyBeatzU, a YouTuber who regularly makes guides on different Pokemon games, has shared how to do the picnic reset in the latest Pokemon game installment.
The walkthrough master said that this glitch would help every trainer gather their desired Shiny Pokemon in the easiest way possible.
How to Use Picnic Reset Method For Shiny Pokemon Collecting
As described in his YouTube clip, you should open your Paldean map and search for a spot where you can see a swarm of Pokemon. After looking for an area where the same species of the creature flock, a red symbol will appear on the map.
After that, carry a Pokemon with a False Swipe on your party. This particular move won't kill a wild Pokemon and leave its HP to 1. Go out to search for a group of Pokemon and make sure to win against them whenever they spawn.
After defeating about 60 enemies, the Shiny spawn rate will dramatically increase. This time, your chance of catching a Shiny Pokemon will be 1 in 1,365 encounters.
Once you track your progress and win against 60 Pokemon, save your game and set up a picnic table. After finishing the picnic, you will notice that your previous encounters will appear via a reset.
This technique will improve the chances of a Shiny encounter with a Pokemon you previously defeated. Apparently, Game Freak and Nintendo have not yet fixed this exploit, so they still have the chance to abuse it before it gets patched in the future update.

Can You Clone Pokemon in Pokemon 'Scarlet & Violet'
According to Gamerant, you can clone your Pokemon via a duplication glitch. To get started with this, you first need to catch a wild Pokemon and go to the nearest town. Wait for the town name to pop out on your screen.
Once the name shows up, save your game progress and switch it off. Relaunch the game and return to the original spot where you caught the Pokemon.
