Apple iPhone 14 Pro supply is going to be rare as the holiday shopping approaches, the giant retailer Best Buy warns.
The partner retailer of the iPhone maker says that the demand for higher-end Apple flagship devices is about to be stronger. However, its supply is having a hard time keeping up with its popularity among consumers.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Supply This Holiday Shopping Season
If you are planning to buy yourself or gift the latest iPhone 14 Pro models, you might want to do so before the holiday shopping craze fully kicks off.
No less than the Best Buy Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Corey Barry, warned consumers that iPhone 14 Pro's availability is likely to be a problem as the holiday season approaches.
As per the latest report by Reuters, the Best Buy chief executive admitted in a media call that the higher-end iPhones, which rock the Dynamic Island, is "seeing a bit of inventory pressure."
The news outlet notes that the warning from the third-party retailer comes shortly after Apple revealed that the zero-COVID policy of China is affecting its production.
iPhone 14 Pro Models at Best Buy
While the big boss of Best Buy warns against low supply of the iPhone, it is still available in the giant retailer.
According to a news story by 9to5 Mac, there seems to be no problem with the supplies of the more premium iPhones at Best Buy. But as the holiday shopping season approaches, its availability might be gravely affected.
iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
So it appears that the supply mess is primarily affecting the more expensive iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is worth noting that the higher-end Apple flagships start at $1,000 in the United States. But in other parts of the world, it gets more expensive.
To be more precise, the Apple website retails the iPhone 14 Pro Max to the tune of $1,099. For that pricing, it sports a massive 6.7-inch display, best for watching movies or playing games.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro sells for nearly $1,000, which comes with a smaller 6.1-inch display.
Both higher-end Apple flagships ditch the notch camera provision in favor of the new Dynamic Island design. On the other hand, the non-Pro iPhones still sport the same look that its predecessor, the iPhone 13 series, flaunted.
