Bloomberg's report claimed that more layoffs are coming this week, and they will start as early as Monday on the famed short word social media company, Twitter. The real reason behind this remains unknown, but speculations center on Musk's Twitter ultimatum regarding employees reporting for longer hours to help Elon Musk to understand more about the platform.

The report claimed that Twitter's Ad Sales head, Robin Wheeler, and its Partnerships Chief, Maggie Suniewick, were asked by the CEO to fire more people. However, both were reluctant to do so and were also terminated.

According to Engadget, Twitter's communication team is also gone regarding this layoff, and the company has not responded to comments about these job losses.

Musk brings back Ye's Twitter; Trump Next?

Amidst these layoffs, people are coming back to Twitter but these are not employees, rather, banned accounts who are getting their platforms back under Musk's leadership.

One of those is the famous American rapper and owner of Parler, Ye, also known as Kanye West, who recently tested his account via a tweet.

Here, Musk replied to West's latest tweet, saying that all should "save what ye love."

On the other hand, Twitter is also seeing the possibility of former President Trump's return, after a recent poll in which the public voted to approve his return.

Elon Musk and Twitter

Elon Musk shook things up on Twitter on his initial patronage of the company, and it seems like it will not be over soon due to the many changes coming on the social media platform. One of the earliest changes is the mass layoffs that took place in his early days as the boss of the company, with many employees losing their jobs on this happening.

People complained regarding these layoffs as they were not given notice regarding their termination from the company, along with an alleged one month of separation pay given to them.

Musk previously justified the initial layoffs, saying that it was a need on the platform due to the company losing as much as $4 million per day and that this was a way to save the company. Moreover, he clarified that laid-off staff was given as much as 3 months of severance on their departure from the company, clarifying the initial claims.

Now, more layoffs are coming, as well as banned accounts getting reinstatement on the platform after previously seeing removal by the past administration due to their violations of the Community Guidelines. Indeed, this is a testament to a new age on Twitter, with Musk's management shaking many trees and stirring up new issues.
