The new "League of Legends" ping system is now getting toxic.
This new enhancement was launched by Riot Games as a part of the latest "LoL" Patch 12.22.
The giant game publisher released Patch 12.22 on Nov. 17.
It includes essential updates to fix annoying bugs, such as the repeated on-hit effects and the Radiant Virtue's added cooldown on ultimate abilities.
Aside from these, an all-new ping system was also released, which includes the latest bait signal.
New 'League of Legends' Bait Ping Getting Spammed!
According to AFK Gaming's latest report, the new bait ping is a new signal that is represented by a fishing hook icon.

Before arriving, the missing ping, which is represented by a question mark symbol, was the one being spammed by users.
They use it continuously whenever they don't like how other gamers play in the Summoner's Rift.
The missing ping will be spammed if a player dies, is not able to participate in the clash and other common mistakes.
Now, "LoL" players are spamming the new bait ping instead of the original missing signal. But why?
Why Bait Ping is Being Spammed
Dexerto reported that the main goal of the new bait ping is to inform other teammates to trick the enemy team into your trap.
However, some gamers are not using it in a different way. Since it has the fishing hook symbols, other players are spamming the new bait ping to tell their teammates to "hang" themselves.
This was seen in a short clip posted by an "LoL" player on Twitter.
"They are giving me the kill, the rope emoji. That's rope emoji. If someone ints (intentionally feeds), just give them the rope. They're all telling me to kill myself," said the gamer in the footage.
You can watch the whole video to know more about how gamers are using the new bait ping in a toxic way.
Aside from the new ping system, other in-game enhancements were also released by Riot Games recently.
These include the new "Rising Stars of League of Legends" tournament for women.
The new character K'Sante also arrived in the Summoner's Rift.
