[VIRAL] Midjourney AI: Fallon Fox Created These Vintage Polaroid Images, But These People Are NOT Real

No, your mind is not playing tricks on you, as these are AI-generated images via Midjourney.

Fallon Fox is best known for her career as a former MMA fighter, and a celebrated trans woman in the community, but she recently went viral for using the Midjourney AI beta to create these Vintage Polaroids that never existed. It depicts black women dressed in goth-inspired looks, attending a rock concert or festival in the 1990s.

The description was Fox's prompts on the AI app, which generated these images depicting humans who are uncanny to real ones, attending a made-up concert that never took place in the past.

Midjourney AI Beta Helps Fallon Fox Deliver These Vintage Polaroids

The wonders of technology are great, but sometimes, it goes overboard, especially with AI image generation which can produce output despite never really existing. Fallon Fox posted her work with the Midjourney AI on Facebook and Twitter, and it became viral because people thought this was something that took place in the past.

The vintage look of these Polaroid-inspired images was created using the Midjourney AI beta, and according to ScreenRant's interview with Fox, the artists only inputted specific keywords to create this.

When looking at the photos, one may think that this was a concert that took place before but was something that the AI image generation feature from Midjourney made up, complete with everything one would expect in a concert.

These Women, Concert Never Existed in the 1990s

The way Midjourney created these images also centered on the specific film, a 90s Polaroid color that captured the look of one taken from the actual camera. It also depicted the situation in a heavy metal rock concert in the 1990s, where other people in the background are also distinguishable.

Of course, none of these were real, from the main women subjects to the concert, and all the elements in it.

AI Image Generation in the Present

Artificial intelligence helps the world create significant advancements and development in the world, but its presence in pop culture and the arts also bring a different take on outputs and creative works for artists. It only takes several apps less than a minute to create the AI-generated image, with many systems like the DALL-E, helping deliver these.

Yes, instant outputs are frowned upon by many, especially with artists that take time, effort, and resources to create masterpieces, unlike AI which does it in an instant.

There is one software inspired by DALL-E, and it is called the Midjourney AI, which also delivers the same experience to the public regarding art generation using artificial intelligence. An architect once used the Midjourney AI to create designs of futuristic cities, which gave them results that are out of this world, something different than what humans know.

AI image generation is now a possibility, something which helps the public create art using the system and get instant results for their needs.

Fallon Fox's recent work with the Midjourney AI depicted a non-existent 1990s rock concert with the Black women sporting goth looks as subjects, one that is eerily something that the AI only created and is unreal.
