Twitter Blue Verification Will No Longer Be Available to New Users on Their First 90 Days

Once Twitter Blue verification relaunches, it won't be available to new users right away.

Twitter Blue verification now has a waiting period for new accounts before they get their hands on it once it relaunches.

It is worth mentioning that Elon Musk announced that the "Blue Verified" is relaunching before November ends. The new Chief Twit says they are currently working to "make sure it is rock solid."

Twitter Blue Verification Waiting Period for New Users

If you are new to Twitter or decided to create a new account, the Blue verification will be available right away once it is back for everyone else.

To be more precise, new users are required to wait for at least 90 days before they

could start flaunting the blue check badge beside their name.

As per the latest news story by The Verge, the giant social network updated the About Twitter Blue website with new policies for 90-day old accounts.

The updated Twitter Blue page says that "newly created Twitter accounts will not be able to subscribe to Twitter Blue for 90 days."

Given that, newly created accounts need to be patient before they start enjoying the benefits of a Twitter Blue subscription. It should prevent new users from parodying someone else from gaining the much-coveted blue check.

The Verge notes in its report that the Twitter Blue subscription initially did not have any policies that prevented new users from enjoying its perks right away.

But this time, the Musk-led social media is now introducing a waiting period for new accounts.

New Twitter Blue Policies

To be frank, there are a lot of last-minute changes that Musk implemented to the Blue verification feature since it became part of its paid service.

For instance, The Verge reports that users will lose their verification when they change their names until the platform determines that it does not violate its terms of service.

Besides that, Chief Twit also says that parody accounts should clearly state that they are impersonating someone else. Musk wants the word "parody" to be beside their names.

Twitter Blue Verification Relaunch

And now that they are working to make it "rock solid," we might see more changes in its policies before its relaunch.

According to a recent report by GSM Arena, the Tesla Chief Executive Officer (CEO) announced that the Blue verification option is getting back on its feet on November 29.
