During Google's Search On event in September, Google announced that they would introduce new features for their Maps, Search, and Shopping, and finally, they're here, as reported by TechCrunch.
What's New on Google Search?
Users can now use Search to find their favorite meal at a restaurant near them. This will help users find restaurants easily and satisfy their cravings as well. Another new functionality coming to Google Search is a multi-search feature that will enable users to find a specific food near them. Users can use Lens in the Google app for iOS or Android to take a photo or screenshot of a dish to find a place that sells it nearby.
A new update to the Lens AR will be rolled out later this year, allowing users to translate text seamlessly. Google will delete the text, re-create the pixels underneath via an AI-generated background, and then overlay the translated text on top of the image.

What's New on Google Maps?
Google is also launching a new visual search called Live View in London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, San Francisco, and Tokyo. Users can simply lift their phones and tap on the camera icon in the search bar to see nearby stores and other places. It also comes with AR-powered directions and arrows to let users see what directions they're in. Users can also find other places by clicking on categories.
Another feature is focused more on EV owners to help them find the best charging station. There is now a "fast charge" filter that will enable them to find charging stations easily.
They will also expand "accessible places" globally, following its initial launch in the US, Australia, Japan, and the UK in 2020. This will help people determine whether a place is accessible for those who are in wheelchairs.
What's New on Google Shopping?
A new AR shopping feature is coming for Google Shopping that will make it easier to find an exact foundation match. This way, it will be easier for users online to visualize different products and how they will look on them.
In addition, users can now shop for shoes using AR via Google Shopping, which is now more compatible with more brands.
Google is taking steps to make the users' online shopping experience more accessible and fun. These updates will certainly be helpful to users and will make the experience of finding and shopping for items way easier.
As Google rolls out the new features, users will certainly be able to take advantage of the new features, AR, and visual search.
