Thousands of shoppers rushed to the official website of Aldi to queue for the Kevin the Carrot collection ahead of the holiday season.
The latest set of collectibles is now available in the online store. Before 8:00 A.M. GMT, over 73,000 people were reportedly on a long lineup hoping to get the latest toy plushies.

According to Manchester Evening News, the online supermarket has finally opened its doors for another nice deal, especially for toy plush collectors.
As of Thursday, Nov. 17, the new brand has quickly become a top hit on the Aldi website. According to the German-owned supermarket chain, the queue was created for the overall improvement of the customer experience.
"The demand for our Kevin the Carrot soft toys was extremely high and, as a result, customers were held in a queue to enter the website. This was to improve the customer experience on our website and we apologize for any inconvenience," the Aldi spokesperson said.
Ahead of the Christmas season, Kevin the Carrot collection adds some themes to the lineup, including the Friends set, Footballer Decorations, Katie and Kids, Kevin the Carrot Kids, and more.
What Happened During the Online Queue?
The demand for the Kevin the Carrot collectibles seems to be heavy for the company to address. However, they have no power to control the queue since many people have lined up early to obtain their slots.
According to a man who got up early for the toy set, he was queuing outside the website in the morning.
"I think John's gone crazy. He's getting up at 5.30 in morning to go queue up at Aldi for Kevin the Carrot family for the kids all because the kids love home alone," a woman told Express.
To those shoppers who failed to queue earlier, Aldi says that there will be some available stock soon.
Aldi is not the only shop that is offering Kevin the Carrot toy plushies. Amazon, one of the biggest e-commerce sites, also sells a wide range of related products.
The Seattle-based store is spotted to be offering £16 ($18.88) for the tree decoration set. If you want a set with Baby Carrot, Chantenay, and Jasper, it will cost you £24.99 or $29.49.
There's another version that features Charles Dickens in a carrot. This offer costs £19.99 ($23.59). If you want cheaper alternatives, you can go to eBay, but make sure that you are talking to a legit seller since scammers are rampant on the website.
Aldi wants its buyers to feel the early spirit of Christmas through this offer. Somehow, the website will roll out a different gimmick this 2022 since it's only for "click-and-collect and no delivery."
The website says that slots will be accessible from Friday, Nov. 18, until 11:50 P.M. on Wednesday, Dec. 14. There are two options for the Christmas collection slots. You can select either Dec. 20 or Dec. 23.
