A rare Tesla Semi event is expected to happen before 2022 ends. As of press time, fans are still waiting for the deliveries of the automaker's electric trucks.
The Tesla Semi was unveiled way back in 2017. At first, the giant EV maker planned to start its initial production in 2019.
However, this didn't happen. After the delay, Elon Musk finally confirmed the first production of the electric truck.
He added that the deliveries will begin as early as December. Now, it seems like he will officially announce new updates on the upcoming rare event.
Rare Tesla Semi Event to Happen on December
According to Electrek's latest report, Tesla confirmed that there will be an event this coming Dec. 1.

Martin Viecha, Tesla Investor of Relations (IR) head, was the one who confirmed this conference.
But, unlike other conferences conducted by Tesla, the Semi event is quite an unusual one.
This is because participants will be chosen via random draw mechanics.
"If you want to attend the Semi delivery event as a retail shareholder, please make sure you have a verified shareholder status on our IR website," said Viecha via his official Twitter announcement post.
He added that unverified manual submissions will still be eligible if the paperwork is correct.
The Tesla official further stated that one share will be equivalent to one draw. This means that the more company shares you own, the higher your chance of being chosen.
Proof of Tesla Semi's Deliveries
Teslarati reported that PepsiCo already confirmed that it will be having its Tesla Semi deliveries starting on Dec. 1.
Previously, various sightings of the most-awaited electric truck already happened. In October, the Tesla Semi was spotted pulling a trailer from a dead stop.
A month after this sighting, the electric truck was seen again in the Bay area. In the leaked videos, the Tesla Semi was only seen speeding on the road without carrying anything.
All these details just show that the rare event will likely be about the updates for the Tesla Semi truck. However, some critics claimed that a new version of the Tesla Roadster will also be presented.
The automaker is clearly on a roll as it is quite active with its business activities.
Previously, some Tesla job vacancies for the Texas Cybertruck production were advertised by the EV maker.
The new Tesla Quicksilver Model Y was also revealed.
