If this is true, then the American government will have a major problem since China could use the leaked data to create its own weapons.

As of writing, three individuals were already charged over allegations regarding the leaked U.S. technical data.

Their names were disclosed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Wednesday, Nov. 9 - Monica Pascoe, Phil Pascoe, and Scott Tubbs.

Aside from them, Quadrant Magnetics LLC, a Kentucky-based magnet supplier, was also included.

Aside from this, they are also believed to have violated the Arms Export Control Act.

DOJ officials said these individuals and the company leaked 70 drawings of export-controlled technical data.

They added that the classified information was sent to an unknown company in China.

USA Today also reported that the accused individuals sent these weaponry documents without any license from the American government.

What the Technical Drawings Contain

The U.S. Department of Justice said that the leaked weaponry documents were sent between January 2012 and December 2018.

DOJ added that the technical drawings are for defense radars, missiles, mortars, tanks, submarines, thermal imaging targeting systems, as well as fire control technologies.

If ever these drawings were really sent to China, there's a chance that the Chinese government would use them to enhance their own weapons.

While DOJ is handling the allegations regarding the leaked weaponry data, the U.S. military is busy enhancing various defense technologies.

These include plans to replace spy satellites with solar-powered planes.

The defense department's mysterious space plane also achieved a new record after it stayed in orbit for 900 days.
