Chinese graphics card maker, Moore Threads, released its latest GPU which aims to deliver a significant performance that the public may utilize for different needs and requirements for the computer. The latest drop was said to rival the 2020 release from Nvidia, focusing on its GeForce RTX 3060 Ti cards centering on its mid-range GPUs.
The Chinese tech aims to deliver a card that would be available for use on many processes including gaming, an artificial intelligence focus, and loading massive processes from data centers.
Moore Threads: China's Chunxiao GPU Lineup
Moore Threads announced its latest industry-first Chinese graphics card under the Chunxiao lineup, centering on different releases for various needs in its computer landscape. Its latest GPU is the MTTS80 which centers on the company's MUSA architecture, intended for games and massive processes on the computer.
On the other hand, Moore Threads also centers on a device for data centers, with its MTT S3000 which is intended for server applications, as per its release.
The Chinese company also said that it is for a more upgraded function that will center on metacomputing, with Moore Threads' "all-in-one MCCX" feature.
Moore Threads Graphics Cards: Specs
The MTT S80 GPU centers on 256-bit memory and is compatible with GDDR6 memory for its graphics process for computers. On the other hand, it clocks 1.80 GHz to 1.90 GHz core frequency, centers on its 4,096 stream processors, and PCIe Gen5 lanes.
According to Tom's Hardware, the powerful chip aims to deliver a performance that is similar to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, with its Chinese architecture being a first in its class.
Graphics Card Development
The computer needs a graphics card to deliver the visual display that a program aims to deliver, ensuring that massive processes from PCs bring users what they need to see and adapt to their needs. However, for the longest time now, the GPU industry in the world have suffered from shortage which led to delays and stock problems.
However, there is a massive change this 2022 for the GPU's fate in the market, especially as there have been improvements in its availability and deliveries to those who ordered it from known companies.
Many global companies intend to deliver the latest and fastest graphics processors that the world needs and some are famous names like Nvidia with its GeForce and RTX lineup which takes GPUs to the next level.
On the other hand, AMD also centers on its Radeon GPUs, and Intel with its Arc graphics cards.
There is another company that aims to catch up on the global market for GPUs, and it is Moore Threads' latest release, also a Chinese industry-first graphics card from the company. It is yet to be tested, but its release brings promising specs and numbers to deliver for users, especially as it rivals a known RTX release.
