Removing water from your iPhone camera is important since water and moisture can damage this component if left for a long time.
Although some of Apple's iOS smartphones are water-proof, older models are still vulnerable to moisture.
Once the water damages iPhone's cameras, users will no longer be able to take pictures.
If the damage is quite serious, they have no option but to bring their devices to the nearest iPhone repair shop.
Before that happens, here are some tips you can follow to prevent water from sipping into your iPhone camera.
How to Remove Water on iPhone Camera?
Photo Video Lounge provided the guide on how to remove water/moist from your iPhone camera:
- Use a microfiber cloth to remove moisture on your iPhone camera. This is because moisture usually stays outside the camera and not within the component.
- Put your iPhone in a bag of rice. Yes, this is the most common technique used by smartphone owners when their devices accidentally submerge in water.
- Try using a silica gel. Just place it near the camera. It will draw away the moisture after a few hours.
- These methods work quite well, but they are not 100% efficient.
So, the best advice you can follow is to avoid placing your iPhone in humid places, especially if you don't know its water-resistance feature efficiency.
