PS VR2 Specs
Based on the blog post released by PlayStation, the PS VR2 Sense Technology contains characteristics that allow unique gaming experiences for users. These features include adaptive triggers and haptic feedback from the controllers, as well as input from the headset itself, eye tracking, and three-dimensional audio.
In addition, gamers will be able to enjoy a genuine next-generation gaming experience thanks to PS VR2's improved headset-based controller tracking and high-fidelity images rendered in HDR video format at 4000 x 2040 resolution (2000 x 2040 for each eye).
PlayStation's newest headset has an OLED display, a field of vision that extends out to 110 degrees, and the ability to handle 4K content with high dynamic range.
It also allows for frame rates and gameplay of up to 120 frames per second. No need to set up additional cameras to track your motions. Thanks to the four cameras included in the VR headset's display panel.
Compared to the company's previous headset, the PS VR2 has a thinner and lighter design. There is a vent for increased airflow, as well as a dial for adjusting the lens.
Compatibility With Old Games
In September, Sony officially stated that old titles would not be allowed to play on a PS VR2 headset as it intends to change the experience that it provides for players. An exec also confirmed that new games and features would be unveiled instead.
