According to the story by Giz China, the public was surprised when confirmation came that the new series was expected to come sooner than initially expected. Qualcomm is expected to announce its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip in mid-November.
With the announcement of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the Android smartphone maker will be able to design and launch their high-end models earlier than initially expected. The reason for the changes is that Qualcomm is aiming for OEMs to sell more devices, especially during the Chinese Spring Festival, which will be approaching.
New Mi Series Will be the First Models to Use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chips
The Mi series will be the first-ever models to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips as they hit the market. An announcement is being awaited sometime this month for it to go on sale in December, before the end of the year.
The series will come in three different versions: the vanilla, the Pro, and the Ultra. As seen on Weibo, the new Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro will come in multiple variations.
Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro Color and Material Options
The Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro will come in four different standard color choices: black, green, white, and pink. To top everything off, buyers can choose plain leather for the pink and green options with an option of glass for the black and white options.

As per Phone Arena, the new Xiaomi Mi 13 will come with a quad-HD LTPO display and an AMOLED panel. This means that it will be capable of 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, wherein the LTPO tech will allow users to adjust its refresh rate.
