A new Instagram bug suspends many IG users, preventing them from accessing their accounts.
Because of the issue, many users are concerned because they think Meta completely banned their Instagram accounts.
The outage-like bug began on Oct. 31 at around 1:30 p.m. UK time. Down Detector UK also confirmed the issue on the social media platform.
The website status checker's graph revealed that more than 3,000 users were affected by the system issue.

According to Independent UK's latest report, affected Instagram users received messages claiming that their accounts were banned.
However, Instagram said, on its official Twitter account, that the issue that IG consumers experience is technical.
"We're aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account," said Instagram Comms, the company's PR team, via its latest tweet.
The social media platform added that they are already working to fix the outage, apologizing for the inconvenience it caused IG users.
As of writing, the Twitter announcement on Instagram has already generated more than 60,000 likes, 13,000 quote tweets, and 28,000 retweets.
Other Issues Caused by Instagram Outage
Aside from randomly suspending Instagram accounts, the latest system outage also caused users' followers to decline.
The Verge reported that some high-profile accounts also experienced drastic decreases in their followers.
One of them is Cristiano Ronaldo's IG account. The football player's Instagram profile reportedly lost around three million followers after the system issues began.
On the other hand, sources also stated that most of the affected users are using iPhones. But Meta or the official Instagram PR team didn't confirm if the issue has something to do with iOS.
