Uber's Tesla rental program is a success based on the latest report from the ride-hailing service provider.
The mobility company launched this project with Hertz back in 2021.
Now, the ride-hailing firm detailed the results of its Tesla rental program's performance during the operation's first year.
"With the growth of this program, the total amount of avoided emissions have correspondingly grown," said Uber via its official report.
Uber's Tesla Rental Program a Success!
According to Teslarati's latest report, Uber's latest analysis report highlighted the performance of its Tesla rental project in terms of completed trips and other metrics.

From October 2021 until August 2022, the EV rental program of the mobility service provider completed more than five million trips.
Its rented Tesla units were able to run over 40 million miles and were tested in 30 different U.S. markets.
When it comes to carbon emissions, the project was able to prevent more than 19k metric tonnes of carbon emissions.
Before the program started, 95% of the drivers who entered the program hadn't experienced using electric cars before.
Now, more than 77% of them said that they are considering staying in Uber's Tesla rental program. Some of them even shared their interest in buying EVs.
All these details just show how successful Uber's Tesla rental program really is.
Is Uber Benefiting from It Financially?
The official analysis report of Uber didn't provide any detail regarding the Tesla rental program's effects on its revenues.
The company only highlighted the program's performances in driver satisfaction, sustainability, and equitable access.
But, if Uber continues this EV rental project, it just suggests that the ride-hailing company is generating enough revenue to sustain the program.
Previously, we reported that Uber's bus and train bookings were being trialed in the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, over 15,000 Uber drivers recently rented Tesla vehicles through Hertz.
