Snapchat is introducing four new features for Snapchat+ subscribers this time. Although these are exclusive to premium pay services, it's interesting to know how unique each offers to the users.
New Snapchat+ Features
According to Phone Arena, starting on Friday, Oct. 21, Snapchat Plus users can now access a myriad of new features on the instant messaging app.
Since the official launch of Snapchat+ in August, Snap confirmed that over one million users have already subscribed to the service.
For a monthly subscription charge of $3.99, you can never go wrong with Snapchat+. However, this premium subscription is not yet available in some parts of the world. Currently, it's accessible to the US, the UK, UAE, Canada, Germany, Australia, France, Saudi Arabia, and New Zealand.
Snap says that there will be an expansion for this premium service in the future. The company has not yet disclosed the exact date for this update.
Custom Stories Expiration and Camera Color Borders
TechCrunch reports that the first new Snapchat+ feature to arrive this week is the Stories expiration controls. For this update, every Snapchat Plus user can set their desired expiration interval for the Stories.
The interval can be as short as one hour or even longer than a week. With this feature, subscribers can now tweak the visibility of their content. It's designed for content creators and other online influencers.
Meanwhile, Snap also brings custom camera color borders exclusively for Snapchat+ subscribers. Users are free to select whatever accent color they want when "snapping" a photo. The choices include Fire Orange, Candy Red, Shocking Pink, Crayon Blue, Vivid Purple, Aqua Blue, Snapchat Yellow, and Lime Green.

Customized Notification Sounds and Halloween Bitmoji Backgrounds
Another feature that Snapchat+ users can test is the customizable notification sounds. It's very helpful if you want your call tunes to be specific for your friend.
Snap adds six new sounds, including Mini Drop, Fairy Glass, Log Goblin, Alien Amule, and Bottle Pop. Bringing some spice to the Snapchat notification calls will help you relive your moments with your close friends and other colleagues on the platform.
A few weeks from now, the Halloween season will come. Snap is also adding spooky Bitmoji backgrounds for November. You can choose unique backdrops in Snapchat+, including a haunted house, a haunted forest, and more.
Following this Hallowee-themed feature, Snap has previously said that it will unveil a new AR-focused update for users who want to try wearing virtual Halloween costumes for the ghost season.
Last month, Snap offered a Snapchat web browser version to every user. Back then, it was only available to users who were living in Australia, the UK, the US, Canada, and New Zealand.
