Fair warning: Once you start, you may not be able to stop watching this. For the rest of the day.
Bad Lip Reading, one of the most popular channels on YouTube, takes clips from movies and television, deletes the audio, and adds its own dialogue that syncs up to what's on the screen. Imagine if you could read the lips of people you can't hear, but you always get what they're saying wrong. Bad Lip Reading does this with hilarious results, inserting nonsensical dialogue into very serious scenes.
The crew behind Bad Lip Reading has done videos devoted to The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games and a personal favorite, laugh-out-loud revisions to the Twilight movies. They've also done loads of clips of politicians and sports stars.
Their latest masterpiece is "NFL 2015," a laugh-so-hard-you'll-cry farcical guess at what all those football players are saying. You know how when you're watching a game, and you can see the players' lips moving but you can't make out what they're saying? Bad Lip Reading attempts to remedy that, but their guesses are (intentionally) way off target.
Oh, and don't worry: this is perfectly safe-for-work.
I think what makes Bad Lip Reading work is that its voice actors commit to the material. There's no wink-wink-nudge-nudge in their voices; they're reading the lines as if this is what the people on screen are really saying in that moment.
