SpaceX Falcon 9 Launch

As per the recent report by Teslarati, the latest launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 was not as smooth as expected. It faced a technical delay, which lasted for up to two days.

But after three days, the giant space firm moved forward from the technical delays and went on to launch its Falcon 9 rocket.

And thanks to the delay it lifted off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station or the CCSFS roughly five minutes after the sun had set. To be more precise, it launched at 7:05 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on October 5.

SpaceX Falcon 9 'Jellyfish' New Stunning Angle

Given that the launch coincides shortly after the sunset, Teslarati notes that the plumes of exhaust from the Falcon 9 have stunningly lit up the post-sunset dimming skies.

In turn, the evening launch of the Falcon 9 rocket has left a glowing "jellyfish" phenomenon from the skies.

The online news outlet notes that the "space jellyfish" light show was seen up to hundreds of miles from the US Space Force launch site.

According to a news story by Interesting Engineering, the SpaceX drone ship, known as the "A Shortfall of Gravitas" or ASOG, has taken a stunning angle of the light show. It was supposed to receive the booster B1060 from the Falcon 9 launch.

But during the "jellyfish" sighting it also serves as an appropriate location to capture the breathtaking view. The camera stationed at the SpaceX drone ship took a video of the rocket launch, as well as the space jellyfish light show that it left behind afterward.

'Space Jellyfish:' What is it All About

Interesting Engineering highlights in its report that the "space jellyfish" sighting is considered a rare phenomenon. But it has been seen in various rocket launches of SpaceX.

Here's a look at the astonishing view of the "space jellyfish" that the latest Falcon 9 launch left behind after facing a long delay.
