14-inch MacBook Pro is Being Sold at an Amazon Prime Day Discount of $400 Less
One reason why some people choose not to purchase Apple products is because of their prices. To make things even worse, the company rarely offers discounts on its products like the MacBook, especially discounts that go up to a few hundred dollars.
Due to the rarity of the discount, purchasing a 14-inch MacBook Pro during Amazon Prime Day in October could be a steal. This, of course, does not mean the new price of the MacBook Pro is affordable since it still costs over $1,500.
The Original Price of the MacBook Could Set Buyers Back by $1,999
According to the story by Tom's Guide, the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale is yet to happen, but certain online retailers are already starting to offer early deals. One of the most notable deals spotted is a deal wherein the 14-inch MacBook Pro is being sold for $400 off its original price.
The laptop being sold is the M1 Pro version of the MacBook and it comes with 512GB internal storage. The original retail price for the MacBook Pro 14-inch is at $1,999 and so far, its new price is the lowest that it has ever been for the laptop.
The Last Time a Discount This Big Happened for the 14-Inch MacBook Pro was During Labor Day
The article by Tom's Guide notes that the last time this type of discount was seen was during Labor Day. Since Labor Day sales are known to usually offer massive discounts for certain items, it seems like the new discount matches it.
While the1 14-inch MacBook Pro M1 512GB version being sold for $1,599 on Amazon, another MacBook was also spotted being sold for a discount and now costs less than $1,000. The 13-inch MacBook Pro M1 256GB laptop was also spotted being sold on Best Buy at a massive discount.

13-Inch MacBook Pro M1 Spotted Selling for Less than $1,000
The 13-inch MacBook Pro M1 256GB, although packing just half the memory as the 512GB 14-inch version, is being sold at just $999 after a massive $300 discount on Best Buy. This is also a huge drop from its original price at $1,299.
To put things into perspective, the 13-inch MacBook Pro is being sold at 2/3rds the price of the 14-inch one. Whichever buyers prefer, both models are being sold at massive discounts compared to their original price.
So far, when compared to other retailers, these are the cheapest deals so far for the MacBook Pro 13-inch and 14-inch models. The 14-inch model's promo appeared just shortly before the official Amazon Prime Day in October is set to launch.
