‘Destiny 2’ New Anti-Cheat System Temporarily Disabled, Bungie Confirms Wrongful Bans in Game

A temporary setback for Destiny 2's new system.

Bungie confirmed that "Destiny 2's" latest anti-cheat system is temporarily disabled by the company after wrongful bans were made on innocent gamers, citing it as a human error. "Destiny 2" previously launched its anti-cheating system for the world to benefit, especially as gamers who use codes or systems to enhance their gaming experience are disrupting matches and ranks within the title.

Bungie Help confirmed via its Twitter page that it faced human errors with its new anti-cheating system that caused wrongful bans for some gamers who do not use these kinds of technology. Because of this incident, Bungie and "Destiny 2" is temporarily disabling the new system for gamers before it resolves the issue.

Several users brought their complaints online, citing that they do not use such systems to better their gameplay and use it as an edge to win against others. Some even demand compensation for this incident.

This development does not mean that "Destiny 2" is no longer monitoring those with game-enhancing features enabled on their computers or for the game.

Old systems of the company will still be in effect and observed, with the pre-existing anti-cheat systems remaining active while on this temporary disabling to fix the new feature.

'Destiny 2's' Latest Anti-Cheat System

The latest anti-cheat system for "Destiny 2" is supposedly the answer to avoid any incidents in games, especially as they match up against honest players which rely on their skills and loadout for the experience. Bungie is one of the companies that develop their anti-cheating system regularly, but this latest one took a step too far with the wrongful bans.

'Destiny 2' and its Experience

One of the most favorite first-person shooter games in the market now is still "Destiny 2," and this is despite the game's 2017 release which makes it almost six years old in the industry. It still experiences a handful of gamers in the everyday setup, with famous expansions already available within the company to bring a better experience.

The game is finally releasing its last expansion for the title, with the experience arriving by February 2023, bringing the world the "Lightfall" DLC and it may conclude the famous title.

It already saw massive preorders via the Steam platform, and it only shows that gamers are still enjoying their sci-fi first-person shooter game from Bungie, and expects more to come in the future.

However, the sequel game to the "Destiny" franchise is still unknown, with the company not yet revealing any details behind it.

Soon a "Destiny" experience may be coming to the mobile platform for gamers to enjoy a more portable experience right in the palm of their hands, but this remains a leak and speculation from insiders. For now, gamers may enjoy "Destiny 2" with its anti-cheater system that will help in improving the gameplay and experience for all.
