One of Samsung's high-end smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, was spotted selling at just $1,499.99 after a massive $420 discount. What makes this deal more exciting is that the discount is being offered for the 512GB version of the model.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Spotted Selling at a Massive Discount
According to the story by WCCFtech, the publication describes the memory as "more internal storage than you will ever need" since it towers over the standard 128GB that most smartphones are being sold with.
With one of the largest memory options being sold at such a discount, buyers can get the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 for around three-fourths of its original price. Sadly, however, this does not mean that the smartphone is finally behind the $1,000 range.
The 512GB Version of the Smartphone is Being Sold at the Same Price as the 256GB Version
The smartphone is being sold at a $420 discount which brings its price down to $1499.99 from its previous $1919.99 at a 22% discount. The discounted smartphone was spotted on Amazon and is available for the 512GB version.
The interesting thing about the listing is that the 512GB version is now being sold at the same price as the 256GB version. For half the memory, buyers are expected to pay the same price, although the lower-memory version is also discounted.
Both Memory Versions Cost Only $1,499.99 After Different Discounts
The reason for the similarity in price is that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 256GB version was originally priced at $1,799.99 and is being sold at a $300 discount. Percentage-wise, the 256GB version is only being sold at 17% off compared to the 512GB version at 22% off.
This makes deciding between the 256GB version and the 512GB version a no-brainer since both options are the same price, with one of them offering twice as much memory. Although buyers might not need the extra memory, when it comes to value for money, they will be getting more with the 512GB version.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Now at Its Lowest Price of $799 for Eligible Trade-Ins
While the pricing might seem confusing, this could actually be a technique to get more people to purchase the 512GB version since it basically costs more than the 256GB version. For those that want even bigger discounts, the official Samsung website mentions a trade-in program to bring the price down even further.
As seen on the Samsung website, the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is $1,919.99, but it can go all the way down to just $799 with eligible trade-ins. This means that as long as buyers have devices that are eligible for trade-in, they can save over $1100 on the new Galaxy Z Fold 4.
The only thing buyers have to ensure, however, is that the devices that they are trading in are eligible for the discount.
