Sonic Frontier newsletter subscribers are in for a treat as they get a chance to get free downloadable content, the Sonic Adventure 2 DLC.
The newsletter also explained how future players of Sonic Frontier could get the in-game Soap Shoes.
Sonic Frontiers Newsletter Subscribers Free DLC
As per the latest report by Nintendo Life, the latest "open-zone" gaming title of Sega, "Sonic Frontiers," has yet to arrive to gamers next month or in November.
However, a month before it debuts, Sega is already giving away free downloadable content (DLC) for its upcoming Sonic game offering.
The newsletter subscribers of "Sonic Frontiers" are exclusively eligible to get their hands on free in-game content.
Nintendo Life notes that future players of the upcoming "open-zone" adventure could redeem a free Sonic Adventure 2 DLC even before "Sonic Frontiers" releases next month.
Sonic Adventure DLC: What to Expect
According to a news story by Comicbook.com, the free DLC for newsletter subscribers comes with in-game shoes.
The online news outlet reports that the in-game shoes are heavily based on the 2G Hi-Speed Shoes, which first saw the light of day in "Sonic Adventure 2." Comicbook.com says that the in-game item is also known as "Soap Shoes."
However, it is worth noting that Sega did not reference the Soap shoe brand in its freebie for its newsletter subscribers. But by the looks of it, it appears to be based on it.
