Epic Games is no stranger to free games and now, there are a few titles that are being sold for free on the gaming website. The titles on this list are not free-to-play but are just free for a period of time.
Epic Games Store is Launching Premium Games for Free to Give Gamers a Break
Although gamers mostly enjoy AAA games, every once in a while, there's no harm in trying out free games just to mix things up. Since these games can be played at absolutely no cost, gamers will be able to enjoy them without having to spend on anything extra.
Gamers can enjoy simply switching to free games every once in a while especially if they want to take a break from the main game they are playing. As seen on Epic Games, there are two different titles that really stand out.
Free to Play Games Usually Remain Free Unless the Developer Decides Otherwise
To clarify, there are also numerous other free-to-play games on the website. These games are not free for a limited amount of time but rather for the entirety of their listing unless, of course, the developers themselves decide otherwise.
Most of the time, free-to-play games remain free to play and it's very rare for a game to suddenly decide to become a premium title. This does not mean this does not happen, however, as certain games like "Angry Birds" have done this in the past where they decided to turn a free-to-play game into a paid game or one with a massive ad campaign.
Here are the Two Free Games on Epic Games
1. "Runbow" - used to cost $14.99 but is now free for a potentially limited amount of time.
2. "Drone Racing League" - used to cost $9.99 but is now free for a potentially limited amount of time.
Of course, if these titles aren't really that attractive to gamers, there are other games that they can choose from. Either they try out other free-to-play games or look for games at a discount.
Epic Games is known for its massive discounts and as of press time, there are certain popular titles being sold for 60% less than their original price. These games will likely be for sale for a shorter period of time and not the entirety of their listing.
