LEGO is Launching a Star Wars Set Straight from Season 2

According to the story by Comic Book, for those that weren't too happy with the Razor Crest set being destroyed in Season 2 of the series, the good news is that they can freely rebuild the ship in detail with the "Star Wars" 75331 Razor Crest set.

The new set will be an Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) and the third largest set within the LEGO lineup. So far, the recorded most extensive set in the lineup is the UCS 75192 Millennium Falcon peaking at 7,541 pieces followed by the 75313 UCS AT-AT coming with 6,785 pieces.

28-inch Long LEGO Set is About 71 CM in Length

In its entirety, the set is the sixth largest LEGO set ever recorded and fans will finally be able to get their hands on it. When fans finally complete the set, the 75331 Razor Crest LEGO set will measure a whopping 28-inches long or about 71 cm.

This makes it basically 2.5 times the size of the previously released smaller Razer Crest set, the 75292 sets which only had 1023 pieces. Some of the notable features include a removable cockpit and engines, an escape pot, and even a mini-sized carbon-freezing chamber just like in the series.

Buyers Will be able to Get the Set at a Whopping Price of $599.99

The set will reportedly include the Mandalorian, Grogu, Mythrol, and Kuiil on what's said to be a buildable Blurrg model. The model can be found on the official LEGO store and will be selling for $599.99.

The LEGO set will be launching on October 2 at 9 PM PST or October 3 at 12 AM EST depending on the buyers' timezone. In order to purchase, buyers will have to be a LEGO VIP member which is free for anyone to join.

The article by Comic Book notes that buyers should expect a quick sellout and that if this happens, the next thing to do is to buy the set when it opens up to the general public on October 6 or 7 at 12 AM EST which as per the article could also quickly sellout.

A review of the particular 75331 Razor Crest set was given by Beyond the Brick on YouTube and it shows not just the size of the massive LEGO set but also the details around it. The video argues as to whether the set will be worth the whopping $600 that it demands.
