Xbox Series X Restock Supply Affected by the Availability of Semiconductors
The Xbox Series X restock has been extremely difficult to purchase despite being more than a year since its launch. There have been many factors that affected the low supply of Microsoft's latest console but one of the biggest factors is the semiconductor shortage.
Due to the semiconductor shortage, Microsoft has not been able to increase production for the Xbox Series X. This, however, is not the only problem as to why it is extremely difficult to purchase the new console at SRP.
Other Factors that have Affected the Supply of the Xbox Series X
Another reason is because of the pandemic, most consoles are no longer bought from physical locations but instead being bought online. Although more convenient, since a lot of people were buying online, this made it hard for buyers to make sure stock was still in store for them.
Since shopping was done online, this gave room to another problem, the entry of scalpers. Scalpers would reportedly wipe out any new Xbox Series X restock waves that would surface and sell the consoles at higher prices.
This has become a lucrative business for scalpers but this has made it harder for buyers to get their hands on the Xbox Series X restock. Buyers are left having to order the console from resellers which jack up the price making it less affordable.

Luckily, as found on The Inventory, there is a promo code that buyers can use in order to purchase the Xbox Series X. The code is ZIPFEST22 and it allows buyers to save 15% off on orders that are at least $350.
Since the Xbox Series X retails for $499, this means buyers will be able to purchase the console at the price of just $424. The console can be found on Newegg but buyers have to move fast and purchase the console before its stock disappears.

Xbox Series X Supply Might Not be Fixed Before the End of the Year
Due to the limited supply and massive demand for the Xbox Series X, buyers have been struggling to get their hands on the newest console. As per an article by Video Games Chronicle, they believe that the supply of the console will not be able to surpass its demand.
While fans are hoping that the supply situation will finally change, this still highly depends on the availability of semiconductors. If the semiconductor situation changes over the years, buyers might be able to expect an increase in supply but as it seems, the change in supply might not be fixed within this year.
