Intel Innovation sure brought massive news and releases for this year's coming weeks or months with its latest products, innovations, and development to deliver better experiences with its processors. One of the most notable experiences coming is the Intel Unison, a feature of its next-generation chips to integrate smartphones across the iOS and Android platforms to the PC.
Intel Unison: Phone Integration for iOS, Android to the PC
The Intel Unison is coming soon, and the company said that this feature is coming for many users in the future, as part of its latest showcase at the Intel Innovation event last Tuesday. The feature was first introduced by the company at the CES 2022 event, citing a new way to connect smartphones and integrate them using Intel's help.
The company announced Unison's future arrival alongside its showcase which launched the highly anticipated Intel 13th-gen Raptor Lake processors which will also arrive soon for all.
The Unison solution aims to bridge both the iOS and Android devices for their PC integration on Intel-powered devices, most likely running Windows 11 for its OS.
What's the Catch on the New Intel Unison?
However, there's a catch on the new Intel Unison feature coming for all, as it would only be available via the 12th-gen Evo-powered devices which are releasing later this year.
It is unknown which computer brands will carry the new chip from Intel as there were no announcements made by the company, but there already are designs from Acer, HP, and Lenovo which integrate this new processor coming in the holidays.
Phone Integration to PC
One of the most notable smartphone integration to modern PCs is Apple's offer to all which connects the Mac among its list of devices including the iPhone and the iPad. Users no longer need to pick up their devices when working with their Mac PCs to view messages, answer calls, access the iCloud files, and other features available, first available in the El Capitan OSX.
Apple's Mac integration for its exclusive handheld devices is one of the easiest to work with and provides a seamless experience for all.
Another experience available for all is 2021 released Microsoft "Your Phone" which connects Android devices to the Windows operating system to access messages and notifications on the PC as well. This feature from Microsoft is an exclusive function for Android devices only, and it helps people stay connected even with their computers.
Now, the latest take on this technology of a computer's phone integration is with Intel's Unison, soon available to the public with new chips from its 12th-gen Intel EVO PCs coming later this year. It would also be available to the new 13th-gen Evo designs of the company, available to Intel-powered PCs in the future.
