As streaming became popular, especially music as Spotify and Apple Music became successful through the years, Youtube Music has been adaptive in improving its features, especially on visual designs.
A report from 9To5 states that Youtube Music's Material You Updates started to roll out today both for Android and iOS through a server update. Adding to these is the 'Save' queue to a playlist which will also be updated.
Material You was firstly seen through tablets, and eventually, some phones also picked it up later on. Through this, users will now be able to have a more consistent UI experience.
As per Android Police, this new update will make the users' experience improved as they enhance the buttons' visual designs. The shuffle buttons will be replaced with a pill-shaped button in the playlist and album displays.

The pill-shaped "Workout", "Energize", "Relax", "Commute", and "Focus" buttons on the top of the home feed will now be rectangular boxes with rounded corners. Meanwhile, "Listen Again" and "Mixed For You" will also have pill-shaped buttons.
As of the moment, only limited users have access to these changes, but as per Bol News, these features will roll out globally in the coming months, the company confirms.
The "More" font that can be seen next to "Listen Again, Mixed for You and New Releases, will no longer be a text on a background as it gets its own pill-shaped button.

Youtube Music and Wear OS
Google also announced last May that Youtube Music can now be streamed via Wear OS through WiFi and LTE. This will make the tech not only a healthy-related device but now can be used for entertainment.
Downloading music from the app will not be needed if users will have access to an internet connection. This function was not applicable before when it was recently added to the list of apps available on wearable tech.
