CryptoWatch brings the top news regarding the massive developments and changes in the cryptocurrency world and blockchain industry, centering on relevant information people need to catch up on in the present. One of which is China's massive dominance in blockchain filings in the world.
Additionally, the NFT business gains massive highlights from Melania Trump's Christmas ornaments and Apple's pending new commission for sold tokens via the iOS app.
China is also a World Leader in Blockchain Filings
China is a known global superpower as it is the center of many developments and manufacturing for different tech companies, also being the source for different technology commonly found in the world now. However, what people were unaware of is its massive hold in the blockchain industry where it has 84 percent of the world's blockchain filings.
This information was unveiled by a state executive who claimed the massive number came from China, and South China Morning Post detailed this from the claims of the official.
Nevertheless, only 19 percent of the filings from the country get to see approval from their government to become fully-fledged blockchains, but not all thrive in the market as well.
Apple's 30 Percent Commission on NFTs
Apple is already facing many antitrust lawsuits from different agencies and countries, but it is here, yet again working to impose another high commission rate for all NFTs sold via iOS apps. It means that the company will get a massive part of every transaction for the non-fungible token industry, and it is a significant one in the present.
According to The Information, Apple wants to treat NFT transactions made on the iOS apps as "in-app purchases," and the same treatment and fee are something that marketplaces and customers will soon face.
More importantly, it will take a massive chunk of the earnings from the platform as well as its artist.
Melania's Christmas NFTs: Too Early?
Well, nothing is too early and too late, especially for the world we are living in today where almost anything is possible, and so is feeling the Christmas spirit with Melania Trump's NFT ornaments. The former First Lady of the United States is already in the nativity season as she flaunted her recent products which present the Christmas vibes through the tokens.
In the Philippines, the Christmas season begins with the so-called "ber" months, starting as early as September in the Southeast Asian country. It seems like this is the same early Christmas spirit seen from Melania Trump, especially as she redeems herself from a previous meltdown against the holidays, now spreading the cheers and good tidings with the NFT collection.
