A full-scale VR t-rex is now being 3D-printed by the popular VR sculptor Simon Clark (aka Topgunsi).
Before he started working on his giant 3D-printed dinosaur, the man sold a smaller version back in 2020.
He started working on the larger version of his VR t-rex as he learned the processes in VR modeling.
When Topgunsi was asked why he wanted to bring his full-sized VR tyrannosaurus rex into the real world, his answer was pretty simple.
"Why not? If people can't have, or don't have VR, what better way to put it out in the real world so people can see it?" said Simon.

Clark said that he was already halfway into finishing the dinosaur sculpture.
When it comes to the tools, he used the advanced SculptrVR to make the VR t-rex.
He also relied on Shapelab and other tools, such as Masterpiece and Blender, to polish his work.
When it comes to the design's availability, Simon said that he published the VR design on the VRChat platform for his fans.

To raise the needed funding for his work, Clark decided to create his givealittle page so that his fans and other people could help him.
As of press time, Topgunsi has already generated more than $2,000 for his 3D-printed t-rex project, thanks to the generosity of five anonymous individuals.
He said that he would use the money to buy filament and other materials needed to complete the artificial dinosaur.
The popular VR sculptor confirmed that once he finishes the 3D-printed dinosaur, he will have an exhibit so that it can be displayed in New Zealand.
