Nvidia is currently focused on the upcoming RTX 4090, but there's a lot of stuff going on inside the company. This graphics card is scheduled for its Oct. 12 release, yet there's a more intriguing GPU that's waiting to be discovered.
According to TechRadar's latest report, the chipmaker might have unintentionally tipped some information about another powerful graphics card on the way, the RTX 4090 Ti.
Why is Everyone Excited About the RTX 4090?
Before we discuss a lot of leaked specs about the RTX 4090 Ti, let's first talk about the RTX 4090 GPU, which will be launched next month.
So far, many testers have revealed that this will be a top-notch gaming card for all users. It will reportedly feature DLSS 3 frame-rate booster for select games.
Aside from that, this powerful computer hardware is something that everyone should watch out for. Its impressive computing ability will make your heart race in an instant - a feature no one has ever seen before.
You can stream 8K video running at 60Hz for your gameplay. If you want a more adjustable setting, there's a 4K 120Hz option that you can switch on.
Compared to RTX 4080's 9728 CUDA cores, it has 16384 CUDA cores. It also excels in its clock speed, running at 2.52GHz. Other than that, its memory bandwidth sits at 1018GB/s while sporting a 384-bit memory interface, per Eurogamer.
Speaking of its price in the US, you can score it from Amazon US, Newegg, Best Buy, and B&H Photo for a starting value of $1499. For UK buyers, the RTX 4090 will be more expensive at $2,000.
The Darkhorse Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 4090 Ti
Everyone is pumped up for the arrival of the RTX 4090, yet they might have missed something that's "bigger" than that. If the above-mentioned GPU is insanely powerful, you might not have to find the right words to describe the next one.
The RTX 4090 Ti could surpass its predecessor in terms of performance and specs. The leaked specs about this graphics card could highlight its 12.5% improvement in performance just by looking at the GPU.
As a reference, the RTX 3090 Ti boasts up to 15% enhanced performance compared to the standard 3090 model. With that, we could surmise that it will be the same thing with RTX 4090 Ti and RTX 4090.
Assuming that RTX 4090 has AD102, the 4090 Ti could have a more enhanced clock speed if Nvidia has a hidden trick on its sleeve. Possibly, the chipmaker might be planning to release an AD101 chip to beat the upcoming GPU to a pulp. Still, no one could confirm this, so it's best to wait for its launch, which remains TBA at the moment.
Meanwhile, the company's boss Jensen Huang said that the prices of Nvidia graphics cards are expected to increase soon.
