CORSAIR has just revealed a new wireless core gaming headset within the semi-budget range called the HS55 Wireless Core Gaming Headset. The gaming headset is priced at $100 and claims to come with some interesting additions.

CORSAIR and Its Popularity When It Comes to Gaming Accessories

Gaming accessories are something that CORSAIR stands out for. Aside from headphones, the company has been involved with other types of gaming accessories including keyboards and chairs.

When it comes to technology and hype, CORSAIR remains a popular brand when it comes to gaming accessories. With that, the company is introducing another wireless gaming headset at a semi-affordable price.

Wireless Headset Comes with Bluetooth or 2.4GHz Wireless Audio Connection

While $100 might be considered "budget" for some, others might still find it expensive but it is important to note that the wireless headphones are built for both comfort and long-term gaming. As seen on the CORSAIR website, the HS55 Wireless Core Gaming Headset offers two ways users can connect, either through Bluetooth or a 2.4GHz wireless audio connection.

According to the story by Bleeding Cool, the headset is designed for comfort and is built to help gamers last for hours without feeling uncomfortable. The good thing about the headset is that it is not just built for computer gaming, it can also be connected with a user's PS5 with 2.4GHz wireless low-latency signal with up to 50 feet or a little over 15 meters of range.

Headphones Can Support Up to 24 Hours of Usage and can Charge Six Hours Worth of Playback in 15 Mins

To add, the headphones are built to last for 24 hours with six hours of playback in just 15 minutes of charging. This means that players won't need to spend a lot of time on standby or without a headset whenever they need to charge.

Another thing that the headset is built with is on-ear audio controls. This allows the user to adjust the volume, toggle mute, change the sidetones, or even access different EQ preset adjustments all with their fingers without them needing to stop what they are doing.

Other CORSAIR HS55 Wireless Core Gaming Headset Specs

Other important specs of the headset include its high-quality, custom-tuned 50mm neodymium audio drivers which are responsible for the quality of the sound that users can hear. This can reportedly improve the gaming experience by helping players hear everything when they are on the battlefield.

On top of the audio quality, the CORSAIR HS55 Wireless Core Gaming Headset will include Tempest 3D Audio support on PS5. The article notes that with other versatile connections, users will be able to "play on all-day wireless sound."

A more in-depth review of the CORSAIR HS55 Wireless Core Gaming Headset can be found on Tech Radar including its pros and cons. One of its most notable con is that it does not include a USB-C dongle and differs in quality compared to the HS65.
