Elon Musk announced that new features for the Tesla Full-Self Driving beta are coming next month, as well as other functions from the company that is available on EVs. The tech CEO said that its AI team is working to develop new features and improve the company's systems available to all, with the end-of-month deadlines in place for them.
Tesla AI Team is Working on New Features for FSD
Tesla's release of the FSD Beta version 10.69.2.1 is available to more users, but there are certain requests to change the feature, especially regarding more safety precautions for the vehicle. One request is a turn signal for switching lanes, and the other is speeding up the vehicle when roads clear when in traffic.
With these requests from users, the Tesla CEO gave answers which confirmed that these are also coming soon and would be by next month.
It gives the Tesla AI team some time to work and deliver on these new features for the FSD Beta, with the end-of-month deadlines for the team.
Musk Mentions the Optimus, Coming Soon?
The Tesla Autopilot and AI Team are already working on new features for the FSD, but another device from the company got a mention from the tech CEO, which is the Tesla Optimus, previously known as the Tesla Bot.
Here, the tech CEO claimed that there are end-of-month deadlines for them, but towards September's end, there would be an AI day for this year, showcasing its developments for artificial intelligence. It teases new developments for the Optimus coming by this month's end.

The Tesla AI team is working hard to deliver many features and systems for the company in the various products available to them, which use machine-learning software on its services. It includes the FSD and other autonomous driving features like the Summon and Autopark, some of its most helpful systems available now.
This team is also working to deliver on the next showcase of the company, particularly with the 2022 AI Day, which will take place towards the end of September. According to Musk and reports, the Tesla Bot or Optimus is to deliver new features by then, and it will center on the improvements made to the robot from the company.
It may be the time when Tesla would announce the release date or availability of the robot for home or office integration.
Tesla aims to deliver more on systems and improve them for its users globally in the coming AI Day 2022, but first, they have to meet end-of-month deadlines, according to the billionaire. Improvements for the FSD and other EV features, as well as the arrival of Optimus, will soon arrive for all, awaited by the users in the current system.
