While other devices usually only support a 48MP camera, Xiaomi decided to take things to the next level with a 200MP camera for its newest Xiaomi 12T Pro smartphone. Aside from its battery, there are a few other features that make the smartphone tower over its competition.
According to the story by Giz China, buyers have long been anticipating Xiaomi to launch a 200MP smartphone camera. After a long wait, the company has finally revealed the specs and price of its upcoming smartphone.
Both Devices Pack the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 Sensor
The device will hold a significant number of similarities with another Xiaomi model, the Redmi K50 Ultra. One thing that will really stand out, however, is the main camera that the device is expected to pack.
The smartphone will be the second model that will be packed with the ISOCELL HP1 Samsung sensor with a 200 MP resolution. As per the article, the device is expected to come to global markets with the Xiaomi 12T Pro moniker.
Xiaomi 12T Pro and Xiaomi 12T
The Xiaomi 12T Pro model will be launching alongside the Xiaomi 12T, its vanilla version. Both the specs and prices for both models have reportedly been revealed to the public as seen on GSM Arena.
The specs and prices, as per Giz China, reportedly come from a leak but the article did not warn buyers to be cautious. This could potentially mean that the information could be close to official but buyers will still have to wait for the official Xiaomi announcement to be sure.
Xiaomi 12T Specs and Xiaomi 12T Pro Specs
So far, both of the Xiaomi 12T variants will be launching in a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen which is a standard for a lot of smartphones. The devices will have displays of 2,712 x 1,220 which translates to a 1.5K resolution.
The smartphone's resolution reportedly sits between the FHD+ and the QHD+ and will be packed with a 120Hz refresh rate along with Gorilla Glass 5. The similarities do not end there since both devices will be using a 5,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi 12T Pro Price and Xiaomi 12T Price
To make things even more interesting, both the 12T and 12T Pro will be launching with 120W fast charging capabilities. These are specs that closely resemble both the Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
The difference between the two devices is that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will be coming with a 200MP camera which can be unheard of for a lot of buyers. As per the leaks, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will cost around $850 which is basically around $50 less than the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
When it comes to the Xiaomi 12T, buyers will only have to pay around $650 for the device. Both prices were converted from the European prices seen on Notebook Check.
