The sequel to "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is expected to arrive before 2022 ends. Activision first hinted at the launch of this new video game last February.

As of press time, the new "MWII" is expected to be released on Oct. 28. Various enthusiasts believe that the Infinity Ward will be the one developing it.

However, others think that 10 more gaming studios will be involved in supporting the game's capacities. This resource-sharing strategy was already used in some "CoD" titles.

On the other hand, the "Modern Warfare 2" beta releases are expected to happen on Sept. 17 and 20. But, it seems like many gamers were already able to access the game's beta files.

According to Euro Gamer's latest report, some players were able to access the "MWII" beta file on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Based on the leaked document, gamers claimed there would be a new third-person mode in the upcoming shooting title of Activision.

They added that there could be a new FOV slider feature on the official "Modern Warfare 2" title.

The game developer removed the field-of-view option because of some recent performance-related issues on gaming consoles.

If the rumors are true, the new third-person mode will surely excite fans, especially those who already played the original "MWII."

'Modern Warfare 2' Other Details?

Pocket Lint reported that the new "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" will be launched on various gaming platforms. These include Xbox and PlayStation.

However, some gamers were concerned since they believed that Activision would make the new title exclusive to Xbox consoles.

But, many enthusiasts reiterated that this is unlikely to happen, especially since the new "MWII" is expected to arrive on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, and PS4.
