CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA - SEPTEMBER 07: A view of the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are displayed during an Apple special event on September 07, 2022 in Cupertino, California. Apple unveiled the new iPhone 14 as well as new versions of the Apple Watch, including the Apple Watch SE, a low-cost version of the popular timepiece that will start st $249.
It also allows us to better compare the next-generation Apple flagship smartphone against its offering from last year, the iPhone 13 series.
Apple iPhone 14
The Cupertino-based tech giant introduced the latest iPhone lineup last September 7 during its Far Out event, alongside the new AirPods Pro 2 and the Apple Watch Series 8.
The renowned phone maker says that the all-new iPhone 14 models are set to start shipping to their customers on September 16.
However, this release date leaves out the additional model for this year, the iPhone 14 Plus, which would be out on a much later date or sometime in October. It is the latest offering that lets Apple fans get their hands on a larger display without needing to go the "Pro" route.
If you are wondering, Apple skipped the "mini" option this time around. But its customers could still cop the smallest iPhone 13.
iPhone 14 Battery Capacities
And now that these phones have been officially unveiled, we are really itching to know the specific battery capacities of these new mobile devices.
It is worth mentioning that the Cupertino giant only gave away the estimated battery life of these new iPhones. In fact, according to a report by Mac Rumors, Apple notes that all of them could achieve an "all-day battery life."
The tech giant has yet to provide the explicit battery life of its new phones. But thankfully, Mac Rumors saw a leak straight from the iPhone regulatory database of China.
And it looks like Apple upgraded the batteries of all phones except the most expensive option, none other than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
iPhone 14, 14 Plus Batteries
Mac Rumors reports that the entry-level iPhone 14 rocks a 3,279 mAh of battery. On the other hand, its bigger sibling, the iPhone Plus, interestingly sports the largest battery in the lineup with a 4,325 mAh rating.
According to a recent report by Screen Rant, the standard iPhone 14 could last for roughly 12 hours in video playback, while the Plus impressively allows up to 26 hours of video playback.
